WhatsApp is not permitted for use on Welsh Government managed devices and individuals are not able to install applications that are not centrally provided. No specific message deletion application is loaded to Welsh Government managed devices and they are not backed up.
Individuals are responsible for identifying information that reflects and records official Welsh Government business and ensuring that it is saved as a record in the corporate repository.
