Hosting EURO 28 will bring benefits to the whole of Wales and the tournament will be a great opportunity to harness the power of sport to bring people together.
A full legacy plan, developed between all partners, was included in the bid and will be implemented. This will include investment in new and upgraded facilities across Wales and encouraging participation in sport and the related health and social benefits. We will also maximise the benefits of hosting the tournament through marketing and raising our international profile, for example in using it to promote Wales as a tourism, business and education destination before, during and after the event.
