In addition to the over £1.5 billion of direct NHS investment through the multiyear settlement set out in 2022-23, we have invested an additional £100m targeted at mental health and wellbeing, including funding of £14m (2022-23 and 2023-24) for children and young people as part of our support for the whole school approach to emotional and mental wellbeing. This is in addition to funding also agreed by the Minister for Education and Welsh Language. I continue to engage closely and regularly with the Minister for Health and Social Services as part of the upcoming Budget setting process and as we develop our successor cross-government strategy to Together for Mental Health.
