Testing of the Succorfish SC2 inshore Vessel Monitoring System (iVMS) device was initiated by the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) as part of the English iVMS project. The MMO’s inshore Vessel Monitoring System (iVMS) type approval process does not apply to Welsh registered fishers. Welsh fishers were supplied with an AST iVMS device as part of the introduction of iVMS in Wales. Any request for further details on this matter should be directed to the MMO.
