Holiday FSM provision is a time-limited intervention that was introduced during the pandemic. Due to the difficult financial pressures, funding for extending holiday provision has not previously featured in Welsh Government Annual Budgets. Instead, we continue to explore ‘in year’ options to try to allocate funding that would allow an extension of the policy. We continue to explore options and will keep members updated.
