Pa ddata y gwnaeth Llywodraeth Cymru eu casglu o’r cynllun peilot bws Fflecsi yng Nghasnewydd?
The Newport Fflecsi demand responsive bus service operated on a trial basis between May 2020 and September 2022. A wide range of operational and passenger demand data was collected as part of the trial. This information is proving valuable in our ongoing work with Transport for Wales, the local authority and bus operators to transform the local bus network in the Newport area to provide a more integrated and sustainable network.
The Welsh Government provided £1.287m in revenue funding to cover running costs and £1m in capital funding to purchase fully accessible vehicles for the trial. Since the end of the trial these vehicles have been reallocated to boost Fflecsi service provision in other parts of Wales.
