My officials have begun early scoping work to consider the international evidence around the use of taxation powers to consider potential impact. This commitment was set out within the 2022-24 Healthy Weight: Healthy Wales Delivery Plan. However, there are no immediate plans to take forward detailed work around taxation and our primary focus is to deliver commitments set out within our healthy food environment consultation.
