In March 2021 the Welsh Government published ‘The Valleys Taskforce, 2016-2021: a final report’ (https://www.gov.wales/sites/default/files/publications/2021-03/the-valleys-taskforce-2016-2021-a-final-report.pdf). The Report prepared by OB3 Research on behalf of Welsh Government drew upon a wealth of information as well as commissioned research to provide an overview of the achievements of the Valleys Taskforce.
The report confirmed that the activity undertaken through the employability programmes across the Valleys area resulted in more than 7,000 people in the Valleys being supported into work.
