As my previous answer WQ87641 refers, the Welsh Government does not hold information on the age of people accessing the Discretionary Assistance Fund (DAF).
Whilst questions on the age range of applicants are included in diversity monitoring, and provided to Welsh Government, these questions are completed on a voluntary basis and the data is therefore not robust.
Over recent months, the DAF Partner Manager has been undertaking work with organisations such as Age Connect in order to raise awareness of the fund amongst older people to encourage further take up.
