The Welsh Government does not have projected numbers of children with additional learning needs (ALN) for the next five years. A three-year phased implementation of the new ALN system began in September 2021. The Welsh Government has arrangements in place to monitor and evaluate implementation of the ALN and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act.
