The Welsh Ministers and His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) have a Memorandum of Understanding in place to define how we collaborate and work together in relation to the effective provision of education, learning and skills in prisons in Wales.
The Welsh Government also works with HMPPS and other key stakeholders to improve the quality and relevance of learning in prisons through the Offender Learning and Employability Stakeholder Group, which met 21 September 2022.
