Faint o arian mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi ei roi i gefnogi defnyddio beiciau trydan mewn ardaloedd gwledig yn benodol?
Since February 2021, the Welsh Government has awarded £779,600 in grant funding to the Sustrans E-move project and £62,000 to the Ogwen Active Travel Partnership. The Sustrans E-move grant has also recently been extended and will receive additional funding of up to £250,000 for the financial year 2023-24. Both projects operate e-bike loan and promotion schemes in rural and urban areas although it is not possible to break down the project spend by the proportion spent in rural areas. Three local authorities, Carmarthenshire County Council, Ceredigion County Council and Conwy County Borough Council, have applied to use some of their core allocation from the Active Travel Fund for the development of public e-bike charging points, with a planned expenditure in 2022/23 of £25k.
