The Commissioners for Children, Future Generations and the Welsh Language were newly appointed between April 2022 and March 2023 at salaries of £90,000, £95,000 and £95,000 respectively. No increase will be paid for this financial year.
The Commissioner for Older People’s term of office has been extended by two years (in accordance with the Commissioner for Older People in Wales (Appointment) (Amendment) Regulations 2016) at a salary of £90,000, the same as she has received since her appointment.
