My officials have discussed the issue with their counterparts in the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy who confirmed there are no plans to continue the Energy Bills Support Scheme when it concludes in March.
I have written to the Secretary of State to ask what plans the UK Government has to support vulnerable households from April onwards.
