The Welsh Government routinely collects and publishes data on police recorded road collisions in Wales. Police record road accident level data is published by Welsh Government on the StatsWales website, with data currently available from 2007 to 2021. Published variables include the location and time of the collision, the number of vehicles involved, the age and severity of any casualties, as well as information about the road type. A data dictionary is also available.
