We will not be able to assess the impact of the amendments to entry requirements for Initial Teacher Education programmes in Wales until future recruitment cycles have been completed. As we have removed what has been seen as a barrier to recruitment and brought Wales into line with requirements across the United Kingdom we expect to see an increase in the number of suitably qualified applicants.
