A project building on the recommendations of the OECD’s report ‘The Future of Regional Development and Public Investment in Wales’ is underway. Vision setting events with the Welsh Government, local authorities and other Welsh partners have taken place and we are awaiting the OECD’s interim report following that work.
Once a forward work plan is agreed between Welsh Government and OECD, work will commence in liaison with the already established Corporate Joint Committees (CJCs) to develop a shared understanding of regional working and develop action plans for making these regional bodies a success for Wales.
