The £90 million Welsh Government Fuel Support Scheme launched on 26 September and included extended eligibility to support more households with this vital support. Over 250,000 households have already received a £200 payment to help with their fuel costs.
The application process is delivered by Welsh Local Authorities. It is the responsibility of each authority to choose how best to manage the application process. However, our guidance to authorities is clear in that we expect them to provide support to customers who have difficulty using online facilities.
