A Private Beta phase of the NHS Wales App commenced on 17th October 2022. Early feedback has shown that over 650 members of the public from ten GP practices across Wales (at least one in every health board area) have been onboarded to participate in set tasks to assess the available features. To date, the NHS Wales App is working well for both the website version and on mobile devices. So far, no major issues have been raised or uncovered during the closed beta test and the feedback has been very encouraging and positive; members of the public using the App have reported a small number of minor issues which the team are working through. These initial results from the closed beta phase are encouraging.
