There are no current plans for additional Average Speed Enforcement cameras on the Strategic Road Network, but data is continually reviewed to inform where they may be beneficial to improve compliance with the speed limit and improve road safety.
Funding has been set aside for a trial of Average Speed Enforcement as part of the Phase 1 Settlement Studies for 20mph, but plans have yet to be finalised.
