We have received 258 expressions of interest to date. Digital surveys have been carried out for all of these, which includes assessing existing building condition information and fire risk assessments, other evidence and survey reports. Where information and evidence is unavailable, out of date, incomplete or raises concerns about fire safety risk those buildings have been identified for further intrusive survey work. To date, 161 buildings have been identified for further intrusive surveys.
Intrusive survey work began on the 1 March and will continue over the summer.
Until all surveys have been completed, we will be unable to provide an update on the total number of buildings which have been identified as having fire safety defects.
