The responsibility for preparing a Strategic Development Plan (SDP) resides with the Corporate Joint Committee (CJC) for each region. Membership of a CJC includes the Leaders of the relevant Local Authorities. Local Planning Authorities are also specific consultation bodies at key stages of SDP preparation.
