Visit Wales provides the opportunity for all events that meet a quality-criteria to be listed on the Visit Wales website.

Currently there are 6 rural shows included on the Visit Wales event database including Royal Welsh Show, Usk Show, Brecon County Show and the Anglesey County Show.

Visit Wales regularly reach out to their industry stakeholders to encourage them to make the most of their product listings on the website.

Businesses and events are encouraged to make the most of the interactive elements including video and photography galleries that will showcase the quality of their business, links are provided through to organisers websites to allow potential visitors to discover more and book.

The Cymru Wales asset library (assets.wales.com) has a range of photography items available from the 2017 show, this was due to be renewed over previous years but due to postponed events this is now taking place at the 2022 RWS this week. These assets are made available under Crown Copyright for the positive promotion of Wales.

Website content for Royal Welsh Show has been published on the Visitwales.com website that also features a list of other rural and agricultural shows.

Additional editorial for Agricultural and Rural shows is scheduled with the intention of using the new content captured at the 2022 events to showcase the 2023 calendar.

The Visit Wales social media accounts post and reshare content relating to events and suggestions for those visiting to consider how to increase their stay and spend more in the local economy.

Events such as the Royal Welsh Show have a Cymru Wales brand presence through our pillar delivery including Food & Drink and National Forest for Wales presence at the show itself.
