Pa asesiad y mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi'i wneud o'r Strategaeth Deallusrwydd Artiffisial Genedlaethol a nodwyd gan Lywodraeth y DU?
The UK Government’s National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy sets out a vision for building the UK’s leadership and investment in an AI ecosystem. During development of this strategy, Welsh Ministers met with the UK Government’s Office for Artificial Intelligence to discuss the strategy’s key themes, and how these might link with related ambitions found in the Digital Strategy for Wales.
The Digital Strategy for Wales recognises how automation and digital innovation can create new opportunities to improve our public services and help our businesses and economy thrive. Central to this is the better use of data. The strategy outlines our shared ambitions for collaboration, and the ethical use of data, to drive and accelerate innovation and data science. The recently launched Wales Data Nation Accelerator project - a pan-Wales collaboration of our Welsh Universities working alongside business and Government - is leading the way by running a series of demonstrator projects to showcase how we can promote innovation in data and AI, drive forward research and demonstrate the wealth of potential we have in Wales.
