The Welsh Government has published information about the £500 support payment for unpaid carers on its website:
Individuals can register for the payment with their local authority from 16 May. All claims must be received by 15 July. Eligible individuals who register for the £500 will receive their payment by 30 September.
Local authorities are also preparing their own guidance, including information about how to make a claim. Each local authority will host their own online registration form and will offer support to help those who do not use the internet to register.
