I am keen to build on the positive work that has been undertaken across the Welsh Government administrative estate to enhance biodiversity as well as making it a more attractive place to work.
This includes the installation of hedgehog houses at a number of our offices along with many other actions to enhance biodiversity (please see the attached map). Few of our buildings are on sites fenced in a ways that would obstruct hedgehogs. However, I will ask officials to identify any opportunities to install hedgehog highways where that would be beneficial.
