Welsh Government not been approached by concerned parties regarding a skills shortage for this specific gear type. On this basis I can confirm we have not undertaken an assessment.
I remain committed, however, to identifying options for the collection and recycling of all fishing gear types in Wales where possible. Welsh Government are working closely with all UK Administrations and will shortly be publishing joint reports outlining potential options for consideration.
