The Welsh Government does not collect or hold this data. Local authorities are provided with funding to provide social care services for their communities through the Revenue Support Grant. These services are commissioned from a range of public, independent and voluntary service providers to deliver quality care and support for the people of Wales. These providers, as employers, are responsible for ensuring that they have sufficient staff to deliver quality care and support and this will include agency staff where there are staff absences.
