Public Health Wales recent analysis showed that as of the week ending 9 January 2022, 10 people have been admitted to critical care within 28 days after testing positive for the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2. It is not possible to confirm whether they were admitted to critical care due to COVID-19.
