Apprenticeships are open to all learners irrespective of whether they have already achieved a vocational qualification at college. The only exception is that a learner who has completed a level 3 vocational qualification cannot undertake a level 2 apprenticeship in the same sector as this is not considered beneficial to the learner or the employer.
