Our Programme for Government includes a commitment to reform local government elections to reduce the democratic deficit. An important part of this is making it as easy as possible for all eligible voters to participate in elections, including disabled people. The support currently in place to enable disabled people to vote independently will be reviewed during this Senedd term.
