The Wales Vaccine Certification service has issued over 155,000 certificates since July, this is available to provide paper COVID Passes for outbound international travel to those Welsh residents who are unable to complete the digital COVID Pass service. The phone line is experiencing very high demand but is open seven days a week from 9am to 5am. We are recruiting additional staff to support the increasing number of calls and improving the information offered to people when they phone at very busy times – these updates will come into effect in the near future. Improvements are also being made to the service provided to carers calling on behalf of someone who cannot get in touch themselves.
