Surveillance indicators suggest that influenza is not circulating in Wales. A small number of influenza cases have been detected, but there is no evidence yet of sustained community transmission, Across the UK, flu rates remain below baseline. We are monitoring the situation closely and are encouraging all those who are eligible for the flu jab to avail the offer to protect themselves and their communities.
