The hectares of land accepted for planting following a successful Glastir Woodland Creation application under application windows eight, nine and 10, and the proportion of each of these areas relate to applications made on behalf of applicants with addresses outside Wales, is shown in the table below.
Land is considered accepted for planting once Natural Resources Wales have validated the Woodland Management Plan and the Welsh Government has issued a contract.
Windows eight, nine and 10 are still in the process of being validated, therefore the data in the table below is at September 2021. ‘Addresses outside Wales’ relates to correspondence and trading addresses, excluding cross border farms and farms utilising a known woodland agent located outside of Wales.
