The first people to come to Wales as part of the Afghan Citizen Resettlement Scheme are now arriving in Wales. We do not yet know from the UK Government how many people in total will be coming to Wales but, working with partners, we are ready to support all those who come.
Wales is already supporting Afghan nationals under the Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy, which recognises their bravery and our debt to them in supporting our Armed Forces in Afghanistan.
