The International Learning Exchange Programme (ILE) will support a wide range of international education exchanges for learners and staff in all educational settings, including in colleges such as Bridgend. A grant has been provided to Cardiff University, who are now establishing a subsidiary company that will implement and administer the Programme for the whole education sector. The first activities will begin in academic year 2022/23. An Advisory Board will provide strong oversight from across the education sector, and includes representation from ColegauCymru. The Programme’s development is still in the early stages, and we expect significant stakeholder engagement to shape the activities the Programme will support in the coming months. Bridgend College will have the opportunity to input to this process.
