The A525 between Llysfai and Llandegla is not a trunk road as such. Denbighshire County Council is responsible for road safety along this road.

Welsh Government provide funding to assist all local authorities in Wales via road safety grants. This financial year we provided £79,000 to Denbighshire County Council to implement live vehicle survey monitoring equipment, in collaboration with North Wales Police. The vehicle survey data will be used to assess when and where deployment of Police enforcement resources can have the greatest effectiveness on collision and casualty reduction. A wide range of areas along the A525 including Llandegla, Llysfai and Nant-y-Garth Pass will be covered as part of this work.

Go Safe, the Road Safety Partnership, are responsible for speed limit enforcement and if there are any concerns about traffic speeds in the locality, I would encourage residents to highlight their concerns directly via the following webpage: https://gosafe.org/contact-us/community-concern/
