The Welsh Government has provided financial support to Aston Martin linked to job creation, skills training, research and development and most recently as a response to the Covid pandemic. Breakdown of each financial year as follows:
17/18 - £3.6m
18/19 - £12.9m
19/20 - £0.44m
20/21 - £1.29m
As in all cases of Welsh Government support, there are clear conditions relating to the assistance Aston Martin has received and we will consider whether any repayment is appropriate once the outcome of the current consultation is known.
