My previous response referred to the higher priority RNLI staff are given as Key Workers when requesting the standard RT-PCR tests available through our Community Testing Units. We are piloting the use of rapid lateral flow tests with a number of key public sector organisations and critical industries. Findings from these pilots are supporting our approach in the Testing Strategy published on 28 January including how best to deploy to other essential services.
