Car parking on all NHS hospital sites across Wales is free of charge for patients, staff and visitors. Individuals using a hospital park and ride service are using the service to access the hospital. It would be against the spirit of the free car parking policy to charge individuals to either park or to travel on the bus from park and ride sites. If you were to charge you would be penalising individuals for helping to reduce the pressure on car parking at NHS hospital sites.
