All members of the Bilingual Resources Stakeholders Group were given the opportunity to shape the new approach to producing bilingual resources to support the curriculum and its qualifications. After much debate a draft proposal was agreed by the Group at the December 2018 meeting. This proposal is being further tested by the Wales Resources Strategic Group. The Group, which met on 11 June, also discussed the bilingual resources requirements identified by the curriculum working groups for the new curriculum. The proposed approach will be further considered by the Minister for Education and I will ask her to keep you apprised of developments. The Minister, however, has been very clear that she is committed to ensuring that resources are available at the same time in both languages.
