The Welsh Government has 21 international offices in 12 countries. The running cost for each office is published annually in the State of the Estate Report. The Report shows the running costs over the last 5 years and shows the latest figures for the year 2017-18.

The new offices in Canada, Germany, France and Qatar are already operational and the running costs of the newly opened offices will be shown when the 2018-19 report is updated in November 2019.

As referenced in my recent response to the Economy, Skills and Infrastructure Committee inquiry into Selling Wales to the World all offices in the Welsh Government overseas network have agreed business plans which are tailored to achieve the strongest outputs from their relevant regions aligned to the strengths of Wales.  Future plans are being co-ordinated to maximise the international trade and inward invest opportunities for Wales which is a primary function of all the offices.  At present there is no intention to publish detailed plans for every Welsh Government overseas office.
