I have introduced a loan scheme to help farmers manage their cash flow and plan their finances in the longer term, especially through the forthcoming winter. This is a better and fairer solution to the difficult circumstances affecting farmers this year. Furthermore, I have made available £500,000 for farming charities to help provide short-term support to the worst affected farmers in Wales.
