There is no statutory duty to consult prior to making the changes to termination of pregnancy provision. Welsh Government will not conduct a consultation exercise on these proposed changes because they form part of current provision for an existing group of people. The change in the process of how women are able to take the second pill in a termination of pregnancy will be informed by clinical stakeholders.
