Prostate artery embolization is not routinely offered in the NHS in Wales. We expect health boards to provide evidence-based care, following the publication of the NICE guidelines regarding this treatment; I expect health boards to review their pathways accordingly. I have asked the Welsh Urology Board to review the availability of this treatment and to advise health boards accordingly.
