Natural Resources Wales apply specific methodologies to identify polluted surface waters, groundwaters and eutrophic waters as Nitrate Vulnerable Zones in Wales. These methodologies outline a two stage process in which NRW firstly decide whether the water is polluted and the proportion of which comes from agriculture.
