Our 100 day plan includes a commitment to reduce the complexity and bureaucracy of planning processes. Permitted development rights (PDRs) are an important tool to reduce complexity and bureaucracy. Permitted development rights are kept under review to ensure that they reflect the best available evidence. I will consider the need to examine PDRS in light of the evidence provided.
