A wnaiff yr Ysgrifennydd Cabinet ddatganiad am y newidiadau sydd ar y gweill i gontract deintyddol y GIG ar gyfer Cymru, sydd i ddod i rym ym mis Ebrill 2026?

From April, Wales will introduce new NHS dental contract arrangements, the first major reform in 20 years. Driven by extensive engagement and piloting, the changes modernise an outdated system, focusing on clinical need, prevention and improved access. The new arrangements also introduce a much fairer and transparent system of payment for dentists.

The Welsh immunisation system is part of a broad commitment to digitally enable vaccinations. The performance of the system is continuously reviewed. We are committed to continuing work with our partners in the NHS, primary care, and Digital Health and Care Wales to monitor and further refine the system.

The Welsh Government invests significantly in medical education. In recent years we have expanded training places, supported the new North Wales Medical School and provided financial support through the NHS Wales bursary scheme. These measures ensure Wales maintains a strong, sustainable pipeline of future clinicians.

The Community by Design programme has been established to accelerate the delivery of integrated services in the community to meet the needs of the population. This is a system-wide programme that includes all health boards in Wales. In addition, there are various other pieces of work in specific areas looking are increasing the provision of specific services in the community.

Mae ein timau hefyd yn cynnig cymorth arbenigol o ran rheoli cysylltiadau, arloesi a hefyd ynghylch allforio er mwyn sbarduno twf a chystadleugarwch.

Beth y mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn ei wneud i gefnogi busnesau lleol yn Delyn?

The Welsh Government supports local businesses in Delyn through Business Wales advice and support, Development Bank of Wales finance and Transforming Towns regeneration. Further support includes continued rates relief and also investment via the north Wales growth deal and the Flintshire-Wrexham investment zone to boost infrastructure, innovation and local opportunities.
