Working with local authorities, our Transforming Towns programme has invested £43 million in high streets across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, supporting businesses, creating jobs and driving footfall. We have listened to businesses and confirmed changes will be made to business rates. This will deliver a fairer system, with more frequent revaluations and a lower rate for small shops. This Government is delivering for high streets, which are the backbone of our communities.

We take cross-Government action to improve health outcomes across Wales, including steps to tackle the health inequity caused by deprivation. We have set out in the refreshed actions for 'A Healthier Wales' our commitment to tackle health inequalities across Wales and are adopting the eight Marmot principles on a national basis to further drive better health and well-being for all.
Sut mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn cefnogi'r gwaith o adeiladu tai fforddiadwy a chymdeithasol newydd?
The Welsh Government is providing record social housing funding of over £2 billion over this Senedd term, including £466 million in 2025-26 alone. We are projected to deliver our target of 20,000 additional homes for rent in the social sector by November. In Caerphilly, our social housing grant alone has totalled over £60 million as at 2024-25, and will deliver 495 homes. A further £16.5 million is allocated in 2025-26.
