The Welsh Government is working closely with Pembrokeshire County Council to enable them to support learners with additional learning needs and deliver on their statutory responsibilities within the ALN legislative framework. This includes significantly increased ALN funding, termly meetings to discuss delivery, and sharing information, guidance and effective practice.

I am committed to supporting all our learners to reach their full potential. This includes meeting the particular needs of children from armed forces families. Since 2019, we have funded the work of Supporting Service Children in Education Cymru, which raises awareness and understanding of the experiences of service children.

Improving attendance continues to be a top priority. We have seen an increase in levels of attendance, but we want get back to at least the levels we saw before the pandemic. We are investing in £8.8 million in supporting attendance, with a focus on the work of family engagement officers.

The A465 project was divided into six sections for delivery, each requiring statutory consent. As part of that process, an economic assessment was carried out. The latest for A465 section 5 and 6 can be found in the scheme assessment report.

The changes announced by the Chancellor mean an additional £16 million for Wales in 2025-26. We will continue discussions with the UK Government about how Wales can contribute to economic growth, including greater rail investment, coal tips safety programme and additional budget flexibilities, to support investment across all parts of Wales.
